For veggies and flaky fish, these were perfect – nothing falling through the cracks or sticking to the grill and somehow you still get the char marks and the grill flavor. Fascinating!
For steaks, we also loved them but my husband still prefers to put them directly on the grill.
Really juicy and fatty burgers caused flare ups but using the mat helped us keep the burgers juicy.
Toasting buns on these is perfect too. I never loved putting bread directly on the gross grill.
For skewers and shrimp – it kept more of the marinate on the found and kept tons of flavor.
